Upgrade Now and Beat BT Price Rises

Nov 26, 2025 | Uncategorised

BT will increase prices for copper-based services, including analogue lines, ISDN and older broadband products. These services include ADSL, FTTC and G.Fast. A 20% price rise begins on 1 January 2026. More increases will follow during 2026 and early 2027. BT plans to close all legacy services in January 2027.

BT wants customers to move away from the old copper network. Maintaining ageing lines costs more each year. The copper network also struggles to meet modern demands. Staying on these older services will expose you to higher prices and limited long-term support.

Modern services offer clear benefits. Fibre broadband and VoIP lines are cheaper, faster and more reliable. They support more users and deliver better performance. They also use technology that BT will support long term. Moving early protects you from rising prices.

Many customers save money when they upgrade. They get faster speeds and more stable connections at the same time. Future costs become easier to plan because prices do not rise without warning.

If you wait, you risk several problems. Your bills may increase more than once. You may also face a rushed migration as the 2027 deadline approaches. If you leave it too late, your services could stop.

Existing customers in a current contract are not stuck. We can still review your services and upgrade you. In most cases, we can offer a better solution without waiting for your agreement to end.

We recommend reviewing your services now. We can check what fibre or IP options are available in your area. Most customers cut costs and improve performance when they switch.

Don’t pay more for outdated services. Upgrade today and stay ahead of the 2027 switch-off.
